The Real Threat to the United States:

I have had a column ready to go over the last two days around why America is being made “Great Again”, but decided to hold off on pushing it to the site, for now, in order to focus on the much more pressing issue; that being the threats leveled at our nation right now by members of the “Fifth Column”. (I will publish the President’s very strong accomplishments soon). The definition of the “Fifth Column”, simply stated, are people who work to undermine the larger group (Americans) in favor of an enemy group or nation. (Left wing socialists). This group engages in activities such as disinformation campaigns, espionage and treason. (If you think I am a bit paranoid after that last sentence, hold off on that until this article is complete and see if you still believe it.)

The President of the United States over the last week has been in Europe, first at the NATO summit in Britain and then Helsinki, Finland to meet with Vladimir Putin directly in a one on one meeting to discuss multiple events. The entire time he has been over there we have witnessed some of the most anti-American diatribes coming from the Democratic politicians, the press as well as the professional protestors abroad. It begs the question “What is it about the President that has these people in lockstep to condemn every move this man makes?”. Any casual observer must be thinking that the President is unhinged, dangerous, outmatched etc. . . .   They couldn’t be more wrong in that belief because it is just the opposite. He is doing what we elected him to do; pushing back on all things that are detrimental to our success as a nation and on those who seek to keep us in our place. Those folks whose primary interests are themselves, their power and their self-serving alliances that are counterproductive to the interests of the country.

Let’s start off first with the President’s trip to England, for the NATO summit, and the howls of protest coming from all corners the second he and his wife stepped off the plane. Since the onset of his campaign, the President was very clear that he would press the members of NATO to “start paying their fair share” (Don’t you love when “fair share” is used appropriately and the left freaks out because to them “fair share” is their code word for higher taxation?). The United States currently pays anywhere from 70-91 percent of the NATO defense budget, depending on financial ask, year to year. Trump told these members that they need to pay up and that we as a nation cannot continue to subsidize this gargantuan budget. A budget that primarily benefits these European fiscal leeches. Predictably the deceitful media opposition went on a tear, laying into the President for being “Mean” and “Confrontational” with our “allies”. Chris Cuomo openly asked “Does this man seek to undo all the goodwill built up over generations”?   Let’s pause right there and use an analogy to debunk this nonsense. If any one of us went to dinners with friends (allies) year after year, for decades, and realized that every time the bill arrived you were paying north of 70 percent of the tab for an entire table, would you consider these people your friends (allies)? Of course you wouldn’t. You’d count the number of people at the table and divide the bill accordingly. Those who refused to pay would find themselves seeking future dinners at the local Arby’s, checking circulars for coupons. Any rational American can understand that we have no substantial benefit from NATO, because it exists to primarily keep Europe safe from the old Soviet aggression. The Establishment crowd in this country wants NATO to remain intact so they can strut around like peacocks as they claim to be global warriors as they jet off for security conferences or perhaps set themselves up for future consulting junkets to enrich themselves. They are part of the proverbial “Swamp” that the President keeps referring to.

The next “sin” that the President committed was the unmitigated gall to actually question Germany’s Merkel for her duplicitous dealings with Russia. While demanding NATO remain as is, she and her government are engaged in a multi-billion dollar pipeline to secure energy directly from Russia. Let that register for a second. They are there, at the summit, to discuss continuing security from Russia and refusing to pay up for their own security while bashing the President for even suggesting it. At the same time they are working to allow Russia to control seventy five percent of all natural gas supplies into the their country. Trump has clearly stated that this action both undermines NATO and also puts Germany in a position to be under the control of Russia. What does Merkel think will happen if she ever takes a tough stand against Russia in the future? Russia can wield that energy card over them to silence them. Where is the media or the Democrats calling this out?   We all know they don’t care because it doesn’t suit the campaign to delegitimize the President. These people had more outrage over IHOP changing its brand name, in a publicity stunt, to IHOB than they do about a compromised NATO member feeding at the fiscal trough of America. (A trough that allows NATO members to not pay for their defense and offer socialized programs at home indirectly subsidized by the US taxpayers.)

If anyone thought the reactions to the President were apoplectic in England; well that was simply an outrage appetizer to the feast they had once the President met with Putin in Finland. To listen to the American left, the Press, and the entrenched deep state actors, you would have thought the President had sold Russia twenty percent of our uranium. (Oh wait that was Hillary in concert with Bob Mueller, Rod Rosenstein and a cabal of other criminals). Or perhaps you would have thought Trump stood by while Putin annexed Crimea or invaded Ukraine. (Oh wait that was President Obama who did absolutely nothing but “lead from behind” while these occurred). All kidding aside, the President was there to take inventory of where we are with Putin, discuss nuclear proliferation and how to halt it, as well as find commonality on topics such as Syria, Iran and Islamic terror.   These should have been the resulting headlines but they weren’t. The press was there (at the bidding of their leftist allies) to both hammer the President on the world stage and ask any question they could to cause friction between Trump and any leader on the dais with him. Questions such as “Mr. President did you say Boris Johnson would make a great Prime Minister” as he stood next to the current Prime Minister of Great Britain or “Mr. President does President Putin have information on you?” Did we hear this line of questioning when Democrats were in the same position? Did one reporter ask Obama about Crimea or the Ukraine and his failure to even act? Did any member of the press ask President Obama if he had tried to interfere in the Israeli elections to oust Netanyahu? (He most certainly did and did it openly). (Nothing to see here folks). Of course they were never asked these questions, rather they threw softball questions similar to those they threw to Bill Clinton “Mr. President Boxers or briefs”. What would they have the President do? Should he start an in your face, verbal jihad on the stage? Should he point at Putin and call him names? This disingenuous press corps isn’t seeking any legitimate line of questioning rather they seek to sow the seeds of a false narrative.

The President has treated Russia as the world villain they are. He has imposed sanctions on them, expelled 60 of their diplomats as well closed down their Seattle embassy. While he was at it he also shelled Syria (which Russia warned us not to do, but he did anyway). Trump also is pushing Germany to obtain energy supplies from the United Stated and not Russia, while also pushing the US to maximize its energy output in direct challenge to Russia. These are peculiar moves by a man who supposedly “colludes” with Russia aren’t they? Strange moves by someone who “Putin has compromising information on” as per the Reuters press pool reporter, right? The main objective by these leftists is feed the “Russia Collusion” story and they are going to great lengths to do it. Mueller’s laughable indictment of 12 Russian intelligence officers, who will never be extradited, and who they have no intention of pursuing, is the telltale sign this is political. Rod Rosenstein announces indictments of Russians the week the President in meeting with Putin, for crimes that supposedly occurred before Trump was President? Indictments aligned to a Democrat server they refused to turn over to the FBI to even investigate. An indictment that leaves out the fact the Republicans had the same levels of attacks but were able to stop, or an indictment that includes no Americans who “colluded”. These indictments are a façade and again I state for the umpteenth time that Rosenstein needs to be impeached or fired, whatever is faster.   When you have John Brennan (former CIA director for President Obama) leading the charge against Trump you need to check your allegiance. Brennan was a member of the communist party at the height of the Cold War, so his expertise in propaganda is second to none. The Intelligence agencies that “found evidence of Russian interference”, also found it was a total failure and not one vote was affected. They also won’t mention the only collusion was Hillary Clinton using a made up Russian dossier about Trump filled with scandalous and outrageous lies. A dossier John McCain helped feed into the American mainstream (Talk about a pathetic Deep State actor). (By the way where are those same Intelligence agencies when it comes to an analysis of the detrimental effects of open borders and illegal aliens on voting in this country?)

The left and the Establishment detest this President because he is in pursuit of things that benefit Americans and that strip the left and Establishment types of their power and influence. They are the Fifth column of our age and they have to be called out and exposed for the anti-American demagogues that they are. Bouncing from one selective outrage to the next, hoping one of them catches on. From their phony concern over kids at the border to bashing the current Supreme Court nominee Kavanagh, abolishing ICE and back to Russia they are creating chaos. They are the collective jackals and hyenas of American society and it’s high time the reality of what they are trying to do is exposed before untold damage is done. Do you still think I am paranoid or has this made sense? Just remember the saying “Paranoid people have enemies too” and this President has many….
