It Was Never about a Virus

Over the past several weeks of writing about this virus I have started to notice a trend developing. A disturbing trend that has solidified my opinion on this entire charade being played out. That trend is the slow walking development of an anti-Trump narrative, designed to paralyze his administration, damage the economy and gauge the tolerance for losing freedoms. You see it was never about a virus and protecting the American people, rather this was all about fostering a climate of fear and panic with central planners controlling the population, like puppet masters pulling the strings on a marionette.  The motivation of these people is obvious.  They crave power. Not only do they crave it, but they will do anything to maintain it, and obtain more of it. The problem they have is the one man in their way is President Trump, and the “deplorables” who elected him. They need to remove the obstacles to regain the salad days of their influence. The task at hand for the President is to identify and remove the puppet masters before he loses control. His task is monumental, but he needs to end the madness and open the economy back up.  

Their Actions Betray Them

              For anyone who has been reading my column you all know that I have called for the firing of the entire medical crowd advising the President. In particular, Dr. Anthony Fauci. Dr Fauci’s rise to prominence over the last 3 months should clearly have been a sign of things to come. A sign that he was a media creation being propped up to a level that surpasses the President.  Every major news outlet referred to him as an “expert of infectious disease”. Others refer to him as “brilliant”, “world-class” and “preeminent”. But what were they basing this on? What about Fauci (who has been roaming the halls over at the NIH since 1982) is “brilliant”? To me, a brilliant person would grow tired of running a bureaucracy for over 35 years and would feel the need to develop his genius, not be curtailed by heading a government agency.  The fact is, he is drunk on power as part of the NIH who hands out 42 billion a year to various groups, who must kiss their rings for funding. That is what motivates a small man like Fauci and not some overarching desire to help the nation.  What about Fauci gives him such power and influence? Who thrust him onto the public?

• On January 21 Fauci was asked point blank “Should Americans be worried?”. His reply; “This is not a major threat for the people of the United States, and this is not something the citizens of the United States should be worried about”. 
• On January 26^th he stated the following; “The American people should not be worried or frightened by this, it’s a very, very low risk to the United States.”  (Five days later the President ignored him and closed the border to incoming travel from China.)
• Last week he had the chutzpah to appear on CNN and say; “If Trump had listened to our recommendations, we could have saved lives”. (Now the media is up in arms because Trump entertained firing him).
• Last week he was parroting the idea, espoused by the Obamas and other leftists like Tom Hanks, to have votes mailed in without identification. Why is he even getting involved with this? Is he looking to run this straight through November?  Is he being fed this by people looking to steal an election?

              Need more on Fauci? How about an article he coauthored in mid-March where he claimed that the death toll would only amount to around 20-30 thousand? Two days later he was flirting with ideas of over 2.2 million. Becoming distressed at people actually reading what he writes, he hastily arranged for the President to allow him and Dr Birx to inform the nation that the “new total” is around 200-300 thousand deaths. These numbers were based on garbage data, using New York City as a constant, when the fact is it was an outlier. First rule of statistical modeling is to throw out the outliers.   Just to add some insult to injury, the new death toll projections are now around just 64 thousand by August. Why is Dr. Birx instructing that all deaths that have at least one serious illness, but also have a co diagnose of Coronavirus, are to be determined to have died from Coronavirus?  (So, if one has the virus and dies of a heart attack, did they die of the virus or the heart attack?). About two weeks ago, on April 12^th, New York City was caught having added 3,700 people to the Coronavirus death list, who never had the virus.  “New York City, already a world epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak, sharply increased its death toll by more than 3,700 victims on Tuesday, after officials said they were now including people who had never tested positive for the virus but were presumed to have died of it.

How widespread is the devastation when you must make up death totals to maintain an illusion?

Recently Stanford University released a study showing perhaps 50-85 times more people have contracted the disease yet displayed no ill effects. https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.04.14.20062463v1

These prevalence estimates represent a range between 48,000 and 81,000 people infected in Santa Clara County by early April, 50-85-fold more than the number of confirmed cases.  That would mean the death rate is even far less than we are being told. 

So now if the multiplier of infected is 50 to 85 times higher than we know, the simple math is that the death ratio is exponentially lower, because we actually know how many people died as a constant. For all this, we have closed down a nation and allowed statistical modelers to take over?

Escape the box Mr. President

I was somewhat relieved last week when I saw the President retweeted a House of Representatives member, calling for Fauci to be fired. Not so much for the fact that I do not like Fauci, I don’t, but rather it was a clear-cut sign the President knows the jackals that surround him aren’t there to assist him, but to sabotage him. I do believe from the beginning that his instincts on this entire virus were spot on when he referred to the political gamesmanship as “a hoax”. (Of course, the media seized the comment to twist it into him calling the virus a hoax.) What Trump recognized early on, was that no matter what course of action he took, the narrative would be to contradict him.  As mentioned, he went against Fauci and company when they told us we had nothing to fear from China. Trump closed the border. He was met with charges of Xenophobia and Racism, he doubled down and closed the border with the European Union. When Britain became suspect, he closed that as well.   What I believe is, the President has long suspected the alarmism on this virus was set to become a political and deadly game. Rather than become a casualty of it all, he was advised to heed the warnings and see where it all led. I am certain his fear was nightly newscasts, where the vultures in the press would play the old games of Vietnam. Constantly showing caskets and sobbing families on the news, to paint a portrait of a President letting Americans die by failing to act. He instinctively knew what he would be dealing with. That move most likely saved his Presidency, as he was already a step ahead of them closing travel across the globe.  The left and the media didn’t see that move coming.

 The problem he faces now is escaping that box he was forced into. As of the writing of this column over 35 million people have lost their jobs, Oil traded below $0.00 a barrel (Meaning sellers have to pay buyers to store the oil) and people are on the verge of a revolt across the nation, as totalitarian governors crack down on them with the full weight of their office. To escape the cycle of despair he needs to lead, and he needs to expose the numbers for what they are. Bogus projections that never materialized and bogus numbers that never had a shred of accuracy built in. Mark Levin said it best; “Rather than Fauci and Birx explain the numbers, have the actual modelers come to the briefing room and walk the nation through their models.  Have them defend the numbers to private sector modelers in a grand debate”.  Something tells me that would never happen because the modelers are simply making it up. We can only guess at the motivation. Trump would be wise now that the public is outraged, to escalate reopening. The outrage is at the governors and not him. Seize that and start releasing statistics of his own with;

• Real death rates aligned to real contracted cases. Show the real death rate is less than a fraction of  1 percent when matched against real numbers, including the asymptomatic.   
• Show statistics of families entering hospitals for treatment. If this were spread as easily as they contend and as deadly, one would expect an entire family to fall ill and often die while quarantined together. Can we see those statistics? I bet they won’t support the story-line of mass infections from proximity. Also, if that family entered how many died? I think we would be shocked to see it isn’t as it is being portrayed. (Maybe like Chris Cuomo’s family they will be riding around the Hamptons, checking out their new properties in no time, (perhaps also fighting with people who point out they are violating the orders of Andrew “El Supremo” Cuomo). Maybe they can be videotaped “Exiting the basement” too on CNN?
• Show the statistics of hospital workers who contract the disease, but more importantly how many died from it. Can we see those statistics in relation to other diseases such as the flu? I think we would see a super majority were fine, and those who did contract the virus recovered. (Also, maybe we can stop with the canonization of anyone working in a hospital as though they just landed on the shores of Iwo Jima under gunfire? It is getting out of control. (Much more on this in my next column)
• Show the statistics of those who died who had other serious illnesses. Italy’s statistics clearly show that 99 percent of their deaths were elderly folks with 1 other serious disease and almost 50 percent that had 2 or more. Did any of us even know the term “comorbidity” before this started?

Build the new strategy around that. Quarantine the elderly and those at serious risk. (Those with heart disease, diabetes, cancer, asthma etc.) Use the federal spending on those folks and allow the healthy John Q. and Mary Public back to work (and back to the beach). Reopen the economy and the people will support him. Ask yourself why is their solution to place everyone in quarantine rather than isolate out those who are at risk? Italy showed us the real statistics. This is his time to show the same courage he demonstrated when he exposed the threats from China and illegal immigration, while being routinely mocked. He has it in him, and he needs to show it again.

Pick a Fight Mr. President

                 There is a great scene in the movie “Braveheart” where the troops of Scotland are assembled and appear to be grossly outmatched by the opposing British army. William Wallace, sensing the fear, gives a rousing speech capped off as he rides east to west bellowing; “FREEEEEEEDOM!!!” Once he completes the speech he begins to ride towards the British. His friend Hamish said to him “Where you going?”. Wallace replies “To Pick a Fight”. Well that is what Trump needs to do with the Democratic governors of this country. The people feel outmatched and sure as hell need to hear a speech about freedom. He needs to pick a fight.  (The President is also Scottish). Come hell or high water he needs to end this, and he needs to stop telling the country about what a great working relationship he has with Andrew Cuomo of NY, Governor Murphy of NJ and Governor Whitmer of MI. He doesn’t have it, he doesn’t need it and he doesn’t need to convey that he does. His advisors are telling him to keep the civility up so as to not seem divisive. But what we all know is we didn’t elect Trump to play nice in the sandbox. We elected him to beat up the school yard bullies like Cuomo and rap their agenda in the teeth.

These governors are exploiting the virus to plug the holes in their failed economic agenda. Cuomo has been running around the state of NY handing out our tax money like he is Warren Buffet. The truth of it all is he has been running up huge deficits with massive tax increases for years. He has a fleeing population larger than any other state, all the while he is dolling out free medical care and college tuition to illegal aliens.  The state is in such dire straits he has a team of auditors tracking down former residents who moved to Florida, to prove they don’t owe the state taxes. That is desperation. So, it is no wonder he and his other Democratic governors are leveraging the virus to extort money. NY alone has a 6 billion dollar hole this year. Cuomo is pushing for the money to be included in the next aid package. Same with Murphy and same with Newsome of California and Whitmer. Perhaps it is time to send in Federal investigators to make sure the virus deaths are actually correct and not being inflated. (Yeah yeah, I know these people who believe in infanticide would never play games with death). The president has done what was asked of him from providing ventilators, building hospitals, sending a Naval ship and providing billions in aid. The time has come to end the welfare to the states and to force the jokers, like Cuomo, to explain to the voters where the hell the money all went. It is time to send illegal aliens packing and divert resources to the people who are citizens of the states. It is time to push back against the tide of a leftist press, a do-nothing Democratic House and a rogue group of governors who are enjoying this assumed power of economic tyranny.

Now More Than Ever

As a final word here, I was struck by a homily Cardinal Dolan of New York gave during mass on Easter Sunday. He told the story of hardship that the Jewish people endured in exile while in the desert after fleeing captivity in Egypt. Dolan suggested that God could have sent them on a number of different routes but didn’t, rather he placed them in a barren desert where they needed to rely on him and each other for all things. His point was that there are times in our lives where we are placed in the desert and are tested beyond what we think is possible to survive. If we act as individuals we surely will not. However, if we work as a group and towards a common goal, with our faith and trust in God, there is nothing we cannot overcome. Let’s insist on our freedom from this exile and work together to free our nation from those who seek to limit those freedoms by fear, intimidation and despair. We know better and we need to make sure this never happens again. The curtailing of our freedoms and liberties was just too easy for them to seize. There never will be a perfect scenario where no one ever gets sick and no one ever dies. Death is a part of life. Any person who tries to sell you on a notion of protecting us all is lying. Our nation is built on risk, reward and faith. It was never arranged or established with central planners. That idea is one the communists have used throughout history to control the masses. We have that going on now. Communist ideas come from all walks of life. You do not need a Russian or Chinese accent to be a communist. Sometimes it comes from a woman from Massachusetts who claims to be American Indian, or a blowhard from Vermont via Brooklyn, or a thief and failed Presidential candidate from Arkansas who claims she is a New Yorker, or a New York governor born on third base and swears you should have seen the triple he hit.  Sometimes it can come from a tech billionaire and population control elitist, who can’t even control a virus in his own software but swears he has it all figured out to protect us all from real life viruses. Open your eyes folks, we need to recognize the evil that is around us and the motivations of those who push the omnipotence of the state and the supreme omniscience of the elite. They lie. This was never about a virus…
