“Oh yeah…Well You’re an Idiot” (My fan base is growing like the virus)

Yes indeed, a crazy title to an article, but this is an actual line from an email I received last weekend from someone named “Micahala” from the town of Aloha, Oregon.  An email littered with pure emotion and some very direct outrage at me for the conclusions I have drawn from this entire “Chinese Flu” hysteria we are all living under. Some of us a lot more than others. Here in New York we are all under the thumb of Emperor Cuomo with a daily deluge of press conferences, where he says a whole lot, without saying a thing. (I will not get into his piercings here) The 10 second version is “I am going to tell you how your life is going to be, for as long as I want”. (More on him later). Micahala was aggravated that I dared to compare this to the Swine flu, and livid that I am not partaking in the hysteria gripping the nation. She doesn’t like that I have isolated out the elderly and those with compromised immune systems to be quarantined. She also didn’t appreciate me saying that the economy of the United States should not be shut down while we wait patiently in the wells we have been thrown into, awaiting word from on high when we can come out to play. She gracefully labeled me “An Idiot” and insisted I respond with my version of “What would you do differently”. I do not think she really cares to read the answer to her challenge, but hey…here it is and by the way Micahala; Aloha to you…thanks for the dare.

 End the Pressers

              Readers of my column know I have been railing against this nonstop overflow of updates from political leaders and their “hanger-oners”. I made the prediction 2 columns ago that once the cases start to not materialize, certain leaders would begin to slow down the posing in front of the cameras. Here in Nassau County, (Long Island) the County Executive (Useless political layer of government) was out front and center for weeks, insisting that Nassau would be facing a potential cataclysmic event. Hastily arranged press conferences were thrown together each morning with the same cast of characters approaching the microphone, trying to convince us all that they were the only thing standing between us and near certain death. Well as Nassau has never reached the levels of death predicted, County Executive Curran has now scaled back the appearances to part time podium poser. Lunatics like de Blasio and Cuomo however have made decisions that we need to hear from them more. Not only more, but their conferences are held separately and with no coordination. Keep in mind they are both talking exclusively about New York City. There is no other place in the entire state experiencing what the city is, so one would think the conferences would be joint. They aren’t, because the two men despise each other.  (Now that is leadership!) These conferences are being done by them to distract the public from the absolute disastrous job they both have done in their respective roles. (More in a moment). 

The longer these conferences are out there, the more the hysteria perpetuates. Ask yourself, if you are watching them are you learning anything new? Are you walking away with any feeling that they have a plan or control? They do not have one and are not in control. They are openly challenging the Federal government for handouts and wailing when asked what happened to the ones they received already. They are placing themselves on the shoulders of those actually doing the work for political expediency. The remedy is once a week updates, held jointly, with records of actual accomplishments and target dates of expectancy. This is what leaders do and what businesses do every day. Is it too much to ask them to do the same? As far as the President goes, he should remove himself from the press conference scene and climb out of the mosh pit of millennial mindset reporters. Reporters who have a clear mission to try and inflict as much damage on the President as possible. They are not serious journalists and have earned the moniker of “Fake News Merchants”. The President should appear from the Oval Office on Friday night each week until this passes. Simply provide updates with marked progress. While at it, convey a message of optimism and dates to unwind the restrictions. The chronic press conferences do nothing but feed fear and confusion. Just watch the Stock market reactions to them if you aren’t convinced something needs to change.  An Oval Office address will trump any of the insanity coming from fiscally irresponsible governors. Governors looking to plug their self-created economic holes by insisting more aid is needed as they exploit the current situation.

Change the Team

              Now I know this is a tough one for folks to rally around, but please hear me out on this one. For almost a month now we have had an almost daily dose of Dr Fauci. From lecturing appearances on Capitol Hill to press conferences with the President. He went from complete anonymity to the world’s expert on all things related to infectious disease. He is a media creation that the talking heads love to juxtapose with the President, in order to try and discredit anything he (Trump) has to say. Fauci was quick to embrace his new celebrity. Often, he would be seen at press conferences rolling his eyes in disbelief, arms crossed in defensiveness and pure contradiction to medical optimism uttered by President Trump. Now if anyone believes the President simply made up false expectations from existing Lupus and Malaria drugs, perhaps they need to understand that Trump has massive connections across the globe. He is not relying on Fauci and his cavalier band of merry (wo)men, as the final word. He has taken an entirely broken CDC system; the one Obama oversaw with the Swine Flu and did nothing to change. (Yes, I know I am not allowed to mention that disease in comparison), and not only did he revamp the process in pieces, but he tore it down and built it back up. Trump partnered with every major business in the healthcare, distribution and manufacturing sectors. He utilized his executive title to remove red tape and streamline drugs, testing and delivery. If Fauci had his way, the “NIH way” of 18-month trials would be all the government had to offer. We now have tests that in the past took 7 days, narrowed down to 15 minutes. We have private industry mobilized from GM, UPS, My Pillow, 3M and others, with revamped assembly lines to produce the medical equipment needed.

Now if it isn’t obvious, the common denominator in all of this is private industry. It is private industry that is exposing all the flaws the government agencies have, as it pertains to actual solutioning of problems. Now for a moment, imagine a world where rather than a government run health solution it was turned over to private industry, with competition. How many more successes like we have seen in just a month would be a reality? Why are we still trotting out the 1984 beauty queen (The year Fauci was appointed NIH Director) year after year when there are unlimited beauties working at companies like Abbott Labs or Roche? Why not remove the entire lineage of government bureaucrats and replace them with real geniuses not bound by the red tape? Fauci has no sterling track record either…. Simply Google his wacky AIDS solutions in the 1980’s. Quite the eye opener. Watch Fauci’s interview in January where he said “There is no major concern here”, followed up by his embracing of the 2.2 million death scenario, followed up again in a prestigious medical journal where he walked that back to 20-30 thousand casualties, and onto last week where he trotted out a graph of 100-200 thousand deaths.  Where is this “genius” getting his numbers from? Modeling is only as good as the data entered. With NYC as an anomaly, how are they arriving at even a consensus of what is added into the models? This is why everyone needs to seriously question the rate of alarmism. How many more “2 weeks” are we going to be told are needed before the economy is flat-lined on the table of history?  Why aren’t Fauci and his crowd speaking up with positive news and promise such as introducing convalescent plasma (antibodies found in the blood of patients who have recovered from the virus and transfused into patients with the same illness), or administering two drugs known as “Chloroquine” and “Hydroxychloroquine”. The reason is simple. He and the others are government hacks sitting on an annual budget of 42 BILLION DOLLARS. (In 2016 it was 31.3 Billion…see the increase?) Is there any wonder why they seem to be so dismissive of private industry when that number is threatened?

Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love sports and sports metaphors. Look at it this way. When the New England Patriots made the daring move to permanently replace veteran Quarterback Drew Bledsoe with Tom Brady, (a 6^th round draft pick) in 2001, the world thought Belichick was nuts. Well that nut was not only correct, but he launched the career of perhaps the greatest Quarterback the game has ever seen.  There are numerous medical Tom Bradys out there to replace the Bledsoes of the government. Do we have the courage to put them in the game?

Retaliation and More Retaliation 

              We now are at the point where this becomes critical to address. Two reasons jump out at me why China needs to be destroyed both politically and reputational.  There are very credible suspicions that China is lying about the number of incidents of the disease within their country as well as the actual origins of the disease. While any disease of this scale will lead to wild conspiracy theories, there are undeniable truths that China has tried to deny. When this started to appear within the Wuhan province the case levels never added up. If we use the flu analogy, these cases should have risen exponentially over time in a country with over 1.4 billion people. They didn’t, and as of last week they are opened for business with claims of “no new cases”. While they can control the message out of China, they could not control the Italian story-line of death and destruction to their elderly and sick populations, where the Chinese workers operated unabated due to heavy investment in that country.

The suspicion is China murdered any of the doctors who wanted to expose the illness. There also is strong suspicion that they rounded up any sick with the virus, and either killed them or sent them to undisclosed locations. There also exists the mystery of this disease and where did it come from? Some reporting is this virus emanated in a Chinese laboratory and worked its way into the population. By design or mistake isn’t important, for now. It happened there. The fact is the damage to the world is unprecedented. So, while they speak of a country reopened (through part deception and another part murder) the rest of the world cannot and does not operate that way. The United States government needs to launch both formal and informal retaliation against the Chinese Communists. Formally, the US should lead all affected nations and bring China to the World Court for compensation for the economic and personal losses due to their actions. While this is underway the Treasury Department should identify and quarantine all economic financial instruments China currently holds, including the 1.06 trillion in treasuries. These treasuries are the lifeline of the manipulated Chinese Yuan. Without the backing of the US treasuries the Yuan could never stand. Look at it as a security blanket they must portray to the rest of the world, that over a trillion US dollars is propping up their currency. That is why they never reduce their holdings. They can’t afford to stand on their own.  

Now imagine China being told they have no access to these treasuries to sell. Their entire economy would come screeching to a halt (Just like ours now). Compound that with a world resolve to do the same thing. Lock down all access to the Chinese to liquidate their investments. Starve their economic engine until they come clean and reimburse the world. While they may threaten retaliation in response, they do not have the capability to survive it. Trump knows this very well from his trade war with them from just a few short months ago. He exposed them for the paper tiger they are. They folded like a cheap suit once the pressure was applied. Their entire economy is based on pirated technology, stolen proprietary intellectual property, a manipulated currency as well as theft of all productivity from their citizens.

On the informal front, incentivize all American corporations to exit China once and for all. Bring the manufacturing, tax revenue, employment and physical presence home to the people of this country. Tweak the tax code to make this all tax free. Lastly, end the visas for Chinese students to study here once and for all. These students are Trojan horses for the Communists to continue decades of espionage and theft. If China ever wants to reenter the world associations, they need to make structural and noteworthy changes, up to and including ending Communism. If steps are not taken, what we are seeing now will just be a start. This cannot go unanswered. 80 percent of all drugs and medical equipment originates in China.  So much for the “New World Order”.

Investigate the Investigators

              Now fresh off the heels of the Impeachment fiasco we are about to see that playbook brought back into the game. It never even had a chance to gather any dust. Pelosi and her personal Star Chamber are now launching a new committee to “oversee all aspects of the government’s response”. Translation: We will now go around and seek another “whistle-blower(s)” to make some claim of misappropriation of funds or leak some whisper of financial corruption in order to restart impeachment proceedings. We all know it is coming and we all know this will be the third strike. These people are devious, calculating and corrupt. They have no qualms about destroying lives or reputations and they will stop at nothing, even exploiting sickness and death, for a political means. I for one say bring it on, but this time the Republican Party needs to stop being the political doormat and start becoming the door kickers to the hot-spots of Democratic iniquity.

 At the end of April, Lindsey Graham needs to stop giving us all lip service and hold a hearing into the 2 trillion stimulus. Get to the bottom of the 25 Million in aid to the Kennedy Center. How does an organization take in that kind of money yet furlough 60 percent of its workforce (700 workers)?  Insist on an audit of New York State and New York City. Find out what became of the Federal aid they received in the past few years. If Cuomo and de Blasio want to openly wail in public about respirators and medical equipment, then put a show on for the entire country about how they found money to screw New York taxpayers , for instance, by giving free college to illegal immigrants, yet are now declaring themselves teetering on bankruptcy. Inquire why the newfound star of the Democratic Party, Andrew Cuomo, had a warehouse with respirators stockpiled. Have de Blasio and his health commissioner testify in open session on their insistence to keep the Chinese parade going and encouraged all New Yorkers to come out and attend. (Invite Fauci as well as this was his take too). Keep the sessions going and find out who visited the offices of Speaker Pelosi and Minority leader Schumer from Planned Parenthood to secure money for their demonic operations. Was there a “Quid Pro Quo” of campaign contributions for part of the 2.2 Trillion of stimulus?  For the final round bring in Cuomo himself to explain the closing hospitals that were underway BEFORE any of this Corona virus hysteria arrived. Have him lay out in detail the fiscal shenanigans he presides over as he continues the long history of New York democratic politics. Politics in the tradition of his incompetent father. Have him explain how he is trying to plug his fiscal holes with stimulus cash. The hearings would be quite revealing. Something tells me that were these topics introduced, the Democrats would corner Pelosi to end her latest fishing expedition. If you want to wrestle pigs, you need to be prepared to wrestle in the mud.

For What it is Worth

              So, while my new pal Micahala in Aloha, Oregon issued the challenge rhetorically I felt it necessary to answer, because steps need to be taken to end this month-long drama playing out for the world to see. We are being portrayed as hapless victims, unable to even consider a way out of our current situation. When the prevailing wisdom is to shelter in place as our economic heartbeat is flat lined, we need different solutions. When a press loaded with leftists is just carrying water for the Democratic Party, we need to bypass them. When a Democratic Party is trying to inflict damage on a duly elected President of the United States, during a time of crisis, we need to not only reply forcefully, but we need to answer this mafia type aggression with unyielding investigatory persistence. This is the only way it will end. In the famous movie “The Untouchables”, Sean Connery’s character “Jimmy Malone” says to Elliot Ness; (Referring to Al Capone) “He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue…”. The days of a nation ruled by self-serving hacks and criminals needs to end. It is high time this vast abuse of power by Pelosi and company comes to an end by all political and judicial means possible, with a disproportionate response.

 Now consider this; When a foreign Communist power can inflict maximum damage on our nation, we need a response of an atomic bomb proportion to ensure this never happens again. If you think that terror groups, communist regimes and other bad actors in the world aren’t going to use this chaos and hysteria as a blueprint to try and replicate this on a larger level, you are deceiving yourselves. We are currently putting on a clinic of how not to react, by surrendering our liberties, not responding and allowing our President to stand out there on his own while the sharks circle him. If you think for a moment that even when this ends that it is over, watch again once the Fall begins. The hysteria will be in round 2 with Fauci and his billions on the line, feeding the narrative all over again. We are at the crossroads. We better fix this and make the necessary changes, otherwise get used to being told how your life is going to be, as the country you remember descends into the sunset of its existence.
